Shenandoah Christian Music Camp Choirs
Each camper is placed in a Resident Choir if they are not placed in the Chamber Choir. All choirs participate in the Sunday evening Choral Festival which is scheduled to be given at 3:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. on June 8, 2008.
Mass Choir - conducted by Lloyd Kauffman - Comprised of all students and some faculty and staff, the mass choir rehearses once a day and prepares four to five pieces for the Choral Festival.
Chamber Choir - conducted by Lloyd Kauffman - Chamber Choir members are selected from early applicants who will receive their music in advance, and prepare a full repertoire. During the week of camp, they will use one class period for rehearsal in addition to the normal two rehearsals daily. After participating in the Choral Festival, the Chamber Choir embarks on a week-long tour, publicizing the vision and mission of Shenandoah Christian Music Camp. Students may apply for the touring choir by checking the box indicated on the registration page.
Resident Choirs - conducted by Wendell Glick, Brandon Mullet, Wendell Nisly, and Lyle Stuzman. Resident choirs rehearse twice a day and prepare three to four pieces for the Choral Festival.
Men's Choir - conducted by John Henry Miller - Open to all male students interested in preparing several pieces for the Choral Festival. If you wish to participate, you may apply by selecting the Mass Men's Choir button on the Registration page.
