Q. I am not a trained singer. How good must I be to attend this camp? I feel just a bit nervous about coming to something this focused and intense.
A. This camp is for anyone who is interested in taking their musical abilities to the next level. The starting place is less important than the desire to learn and the willingness to be taught. Our goal is simply to help each person attending take "the next step" forward in their pursuit of excellence

Q. I am not able to make it this year due to schedule conflicts. Are you planning to do a camp again next year?
A. The interest for this kind of camp is very high. While we will only know in time how all this will work, we are currently planning to make this an annual event.

Q. I really want to go on a choir tour. What are the chances of being able to do that in the future?
A. We continue to offer the chamber choir as an opportunity for those interested in a week-long choir tour following Music Camp. Participating in a resident choir provides students with an audition opportunity for the next year's chamber choir. This permits early placement and allows the conductor to send out music prior to the next year's camp for members to study. Such advance preparation is critical for a choir preparing a full repertoire of music.

Q. Which track of study should I follow?
A. We expect the majority of people to follow the "Choir Member Development" track. This is specifically designed for people wanting to develop their music skills. We are strongly encouraging that the "Choral Conducting" track be for those who are involved in conducting a group of singers or plan to be in the near future. We believe the congregational track is of utmost importance, and the potential for impacting the Kingdom of God in music is great. We strongly encourage men who have the privilege of leading congregational worship in song to consider this track. It should help them develop a vision and the accompanying skills to make congregational singing not only a "tradition" but more importantly, a time of thoughtful and meaningful worship. Due to the nature of this study (i.e. leadership of worship in the corporate assembly), we are limiting enrollment in this track to men.
